Problem
Most “green hydrogen” today comes from water electrolysis, which demands high electricity consumption and relies on expensive precious‐metal catalysts. Meanwhile, vast amounts of organic waste from agriculture and industry remain unutilized despite being an ideal feedstock for hydrogen production.
Solution
FlyChemiX applies Aqueous‐Phase Reforming (APR) to convert organic waste streams directly into H₂ at moderate temperatures and minimal electric input. This approach dramatically cuts power costs, avoids large‐scale electrolyzer infrastructure, and enables truly decentralized hydrogen generation.
Our Technology
- Green hydrogen at €2–2.5/kg (feasible)
- 180–200 °C operation (modest heat, no extreme pressures)
- Innovative catalytic solutions and synthesis methods that drastically reduce costs through novel synthesis techniques
- Modular, scalable units – deployable wherever waste feedstock exists
