Greener Reactions, Safer Catalysts.
FlyChemiX Engineering Transforms Legacy Processes With Eco-designed Heterogeneous Catalysts, & Delivering High-performance Minus The Environmental Baggage.

FlyChemiX Technology

We are FlyChemiX; a deep-tech startup transforming the chemical industry with patented green catalysts. We replace outdated, hazardous, and rare materials with safer, high-performance alternatives for hydrogen, CO2 capture, methanol production, ammonia synthesis, and fuel cells. Our solutions address global sustainability challenges in a $38B+ catalyst market by 2035.

  • Replaces carcinogenic chromium (Cr⁶⁺) with safer elements without compromising performance
  • Minimal use of hazardous solvents and cleaner production route
  • No rare or toxic metals; cost-efficient and scalable
  • Strong CH₄ control for higher selectivity and lower emissions

FlyChemiX Team

Meysam Nezhadhassan

Founder and CEO

Meysam, A chemical engineer with a master’s degree and inventor of FlyChemiX’s patented catalyst platform, leads the company’s vision, fundraising, and R&D strategy. He bridges the gap between advanced catalyst innovation and scalable industrial use for green hydrogen production, and CO2 capture.

Vahid Shabanpour

Co-Founder & Project Manager and CMO

Vahid brings 20 years of renewable-energy leadership. He aligns customer outreach with project execution, moving each catalyst from lab pilot to industrial rollout on time and on budget.

Hossein Raeesi

Co-Founder & CTO

Hossein holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and has spent 12 years designing and operating petrochemical processes, giving him deep insight into reactor design, heat integration, and catalyst behaviours. He leads the process-engineering work that turns products into scalable industrial solutions.

Advisory Board

Maryam Abdinejad

Assistant Professor at the DTU

Assistant Professor at DTU Energy whose research couples catalyst design with electro- and photochemical CO₂ conversion, giving FlyChemiX access to top-tier academic insight on green catalytic processes.

Hamid Roodbari

Assistant Professor at Surrey Business School

PhD/MBA lecturer at Surrey Business School with prior executive experience; specialises in organisational strategy and scaling technology ventures—ideal for structuring FlyChemiX’s growth and investor readiness.

Al Kasani

Founder of Particle-N | PhD @University of Connecticut

UConn chemical-engineering PhD candidate and founder of Particle-N, holding patent-pending core-shell catalyst technology that cuts precious-metal use by up to 70 %.
